Musical trio performing across the UK

In 2014 Heloïse West, Claude Lamon and I formed a trio to explore the wealth of repertoire for high soprano, Baroque trumpet and organ. Both Héloïse and Claude have international careers in their own right, and maintain busy schedules of solo and ensemble performance in addition to their work with Gioisca.

Héloïse is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music and of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Known especially for her work in oratorio and solo song, Héloïse has established a career in the South West and beyond.

Claude is head of brass at Exeter College, having worked throughout South Africa with the Kwa-Zulu Natal Philharmonic Orchestra, the National Chamber Orchestra and the Durban City Orchestra.

We have performed across the UK, and have become an especially attractive group to perform at weddings. As such we can provide music both for any religious ceremonies and can also offer lighter music (jazz, songs from the shows etc) for evening functions.

A website dedicated to the group’s work will be launched soon, but below is a sample of what we offer. This is Rompe sprezza by Alessandro Scarlatti recorded at Exeter University in 2016.
